The Site and the Problem
The project is a rooftop solar array in Romania with the dense, parallel row layout typical of commercial roofs. The owner noticed a measurable drop in energy output, worst during dry, windy months when dust settles fastest and rain doesn’t rinse it away.
The maintenance routine wasn’t keeping up:
- Manual cleaning was slow and risky — every clean meant putting workers on the roof, with all the fall hazards and insurance cost that brings.
- Single-head tools helped but not enough — they still required extended on-site time and multiple shifts to cover the whole array.
The Solution: WSE-R01B Double-Head Cleaning Robot

- Built for rooftop rows — the tracked chassis and all-direction movement suit tight, parallel rooftop layouts, minimising missed spots, while anti-drop edge sensors stop the robot at panel borders. The operator drives it from a 150–200 m HD visual remote — from a safe position, not from the array.
The Results
